Piranha: Wolf in The Water

Piranha: Wolf In The Water is an educational movie that came out in 1999. It was shown both in IMAX3D and normal versions. It covers different kinds of piranhas and tries to uncover the mystery behind those animals, which are often described in an overly sensationalist way. This movie is part of the Killer Instincts series, a movie series covering different kinds of predators.

With 90% of the information about piranhas out today being hype it's nice to see a publicly available film that is mostly accurate. Almost all of the species classification is correct. Showing natural habits and what their true nature is. They are not the swirling plague Theodore Roosevelt reported they were. This film goes into both pygocentrus and serrasalmus genus of piranha. A must see for any fan of the fish, hobbyist or otherwise.
